Coke Live Music Festival

22nd -23rd of August, Aviation Museum

After this year Coke Live Music Festival we all can hardly wait to the next edition!!! We are counting days now…!!!

The event was a real treat for fans of popular music. The high-flyers of the world music stage dazzled the audience gathered in the Aviation Museum.

The fist day of the festival, was the day of Timbaland. This was a great show; nevertheless it was clearly visible that he is more a producer than a singer ;-). He supervised the creation of such hits as Big Pimpin by Jay-Z, Try Again by Aaliyah and Promiscuous by Nelly Furtado. Last year saw the release of his very well-received original record Timbaland Presents Shock Value. The CD was promoted by the Give it to Me hit, featuring Justin Timberlake and Nelly Furtado.

On the second day of the event Sean Paul gave outstanding performance! There is a mixture of European, African and Asian blood rushing through his veins. The audience seemed to be delighted … just like we were!!!

Afterwards, there was a performance of Missy Elliott- one of the greatest US hip-hop stars. Despite, we like her music, we won’t say anything about her concert- we don’t want to be too critical… anyway, bravo for dancers!!

An important highlight of the second day was the show by The Prodigy. They are the top band of the dance stage of the 1990s – explorers and promoters of new sounds. Their music combines the most sharp-edged elements: jungle rhythms, rave, techno and guitar riffs. Their concert is said to be one of the best on CLMF this year.

We all know such stars like Timbaland, Sean Paul or Missy Elliott. But there was also a magnificent performance of Polish star- Marika!!! You’d better remember this name!!! ;-) We were taken to heaven!
